**Virginia Rooms** was founded in 2016 by entrepreneur **Nicola Zanella**, in a Genoa that was still immature in terms of tourism. Initially, the structure hosted four rooms, which became six in 2018. The Zanella family, who immigrated abroad after the war, lived in the building until the end of the 1960s. The renovation was significant, and the availability of parking proved to be one of the key points for attracting visitors to a city like Genoa.
